Reading Summer Camps 2024

  • Super Sports

    Children can sample a wide variety of sports including wiffle ball, soccer, flag football and dodgeball and many more.

    The emphasis will be on fun – while children are building skills and creating new athletic interests!

    When: 6/24/24-8/30/24 9am-12pm

    *no camp July 4th week 7/1/24-7/5/24

    Grades: K-5

    Where: Birch Meadow Complex

  • Track: SNL Rec on the Run

    This program is geared towards children that want to get moving and begin to experience the joy that running can bring.

    Each session will be a different style run, helping the kids to build off the session before and grow stronger each time.

    When: 6/26/24 - 7/31/24

    Wednesday Nights

    6:00pm-7:15pm

    (no session 7/3/24 Fourth of July week)

    Grades: 5-8

    Where: RMHS Track

  • Soccer

    This program is designed for children in grades K-8. We will work on dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting.

    Stations will encourage learning, fun and creativity Small sided and full sided games will be played as well.

    When: 7/8/24-7/11/24

  • Lacrosse

    Our lacrosse camp is coached by Kevin Tobin former Division 1 UMASS player. He and his Elite staff are ready to work with lax players of all ability levels , from experienced players to beginners.

    Children will consistently work on footwork, ground balls, passing, catching and shooting. We will also do mini-games, competitions throughout the sessions.

    Boys: 7/15/24-7/19/24 - 9am-12pm

    Girls: 7/22/24-7/26/24 - 9am-12pm

    Grades: K-8

    Come work with Julia Hand, one of Saint Anselm College’s most renowned goalkeepers in school history.

    Children will learn the core foundations of field hockey such as trapping, passing and receiving,ball control, shooting, and defensive tackling

    DescriptionThis camp is designed for children in grades K-8. Players will be taught the proper fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting, as well as a variety of other basketball skills.

  • SNL Super Sports Jr.

    This program is designed for toddlers as an introduction to sports for our youngest athletes. They will learn soccer and t-ball, as well as playing fun games!

    When: 6/24/24-6/28/24 (Monday thru Friday)

  • Active and Craftive

    This Camp is a combination of creativity and athleticism and boundless energy! This sports and arts class will keep your toddler active and inspired.

    Everyday, children will have the opportunity to be artists or to run, jump and play while learning new age-appropriate sports skills.

    When: 6/24/24-8/1/24, Monday-Thursday

  • SNL Adaptive Super Stars

    Class starts off with a warm up. Students are taught various locomotor skills which include walking, marching, jumping,hopping, sliding, cross overs, galloping, skipping, running and walking backwards. Music is used by the instructor as a prompt or cue during the warm-up activity.

    We will then do a main activity which the focus will be on bilateral coordination, spatial awareness, eye tracking, balance, eye-hand coordination,eye-foot coordination and more.

    These activities are individually designed for a wide range of students with varying disabilities. Adapted Physical Education equipment is used to complement the lesson. Cool down and review, follow each lesson.

    This clinic is designed for players entering grades 5-9. The program will run for 4 days and focus on a different skill each day:

    Hitting, Infield Work, Outfield Work, Review, Games, Etc.
